The 2018 documentary "The Game Changers" claims that a plant-based diet is the best diet for athletes. Produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan and other celebrities, the film tells the story of James Wilks, a former Navy SEAL and mixed martial arts fighter who switches to a plant-based diet to improve his performance.

The film presents a number of scientific studies suggesting that a plant-based diet can provide numerous health and athletic performance benefits. These include:

"The Game Changers" is a controversial film that has been described by some critics as "propaganda" for a vegan diet. Other critics have accused the film of not being sufficiently scientifically sound.
